You Alone
“Will you leave me, too?” he said
“Will you turn away like the rest
From the path I walked with you;
From the way of grace?”
“And where would I go?” I said
“Salvation is nowhere else.
Though the nations turn from you,
I will seek your face.”
For you alone have the words of life
Only you satisfy
You alone are the living way
I live and breathe in you alone
You alone have the words of life
Only you satisfy
You alone are the living way
I live and breathe in you alone
“Then take up your cross” he said
“Each day you must die to self.
Do the things you see me do;
Walk the narrow way.”
“But, Lord, I am weak” I said.
He said, “I am your strength”
I said, “Lord, I’ll walk with you.
Show me the way”
