Remember God and Fight

(Build The Wall)

We’re working through the struggle
As we’re piling up the rubble
And we’re moving on the double
While our foes are causing trouble
So we’re pulling double duty
Building walls around the city
Got our weapons on the ready
And our nerves are good and steady

‘Cause we’re doing what our God told us to do
Build the wall; build the wall
Remember God and Fight
Build the wall

The enemy is tauntin’
‘Cause he knows the job is dauntin’
And the walls are burned and fallen
But we know it is our callin’
So we’re watching while we’re toilin’
As the summer sun is boilin’
And the clock is steady runnin’
And we know the king is comin’

And he wants to see us workin’
Build the wall; build the wall
Remember God and Fight
Build the wall

This city’s wall will soon be built
And I won’t fall in crippling guilt
I’ll do my part to make it tall
With sword in hand, I’ll build this wall
The call goes out to one and all
Remember God and Fight!
Build the wall

The work of building walls is hard
Just do your best and post a guard
Remember God and be steadfast
The taunts of enemies don’t last
So lift that stone and heed the call
Remember God and Fight!
Build the wall

So if you’re holding back in fear
Remember God is always near
He’ll give you strength; you need but ask
And He’ll help you complete the task
So put your shoulder to the work
Remember God and Fight!
Build the wall
Build the wall

Remember God and Fight!
Build the wall
