Forgiveness In hopeless places
A flowing stream In a thirsty land
Peacemakers fall On their faces
And pray for grace – A world of empty hands
[chorus]
This is my prayer
This is my plea
A heart that dares
To love my enemy
This is my prayer
This is my plea
To love as God
Has chosen to love me
Forgiveness for My trespasses
My debts erased; The ledger’s clean
The grace to bind the wounds of my attackers”
And the wholeness that comes from living free
