Cut the cord; release the tethers
Break the chains; loose the anchors
Slaves are free; Sins forgiven
Life is new; The dead are risen now
The past is gone so don’t relive it
The night is done; a new day given
So cut the ties; replace the triggers
It’s God’s design so live in freedom now

Godliness – Christ has shown us how
It’s a different way of living than the way you know
