I have been haunted all my days
By mysteries in shrouded haze
Of visions fleeting through my mind
I crave to see and yet I’m blind
[chorus] And yet this hope still follows me
It fills my thoughts and haunts my dreams
This dream of God for the world he made
Where men are free and justice reigns
And so I make my way by faith
And leave religion to its fate
I’ll trust in God and by his hand
I’ll work to make the world he planned
[chorus]
This passion fuels the pain I feel
This pathos craves to make it real
To make this world the dream of God
My steps are haunted all day long
